I have no job and even if I did it would not be worthwhile to lose it for the benefits. There is guilt and shame from being a burden to others - a sense of urgency to find a productive outlet. Also, there is the promise of a higher quality of life with employment and the satisfaction of helping to support others. The prospect of eeking by on a small stipend leaves much to be desired as well, so I am not sure who in their right mind would be satisfied with this unless deprived of better options.
