This whole ordeal along with the Bob Menendez sh-t has really given us a great opportunity to find out just how many people think there should be little if any ethical standard for elected officials. Yet many of those same people will complain in the abstract about how corrupt and unethical the DC swamp is.

We have the list now.

Dems Al Green (TX) and Johnathan Jackson (IL) voted present.

Dems Bobby Scott (VA) and Nikema Williams (GA) voted No.

So weird. I would've expected someone in a swing district to make an "everyone deserves their day in court" argument like last time, but Scott and Williams both represent safe districts. Maybe they figured that Santos staying in Congress would be more damaging for the GOP's odds of keeping the House in '24.
