Sorry to sound morbid or bring up some kind of dark memory that was unbeknownst to me...

but after the recent passing of one of my mom's facebook friends (whom she never met, only knew her through facebook) it got me thinking: has a prominent AF poster ever passed to the knowledge of the collective?

Yates was an ass for what he put some of us people through, and I wouldnt encourage looking for his profile. It only brings up anger.

One can't get much angrier than an angsty 15 year old who listens to My Chemical Romance, eh?

Once you reach 10,000 posts you become immortal.

Almost...there....

Good lord. After reading his apologies and whatnot, I said "what a bastard" and closed the tab.

Back in 2005-06 we had two brothers posting here - WiseGuy and CheeseWhiz - who both eventually left.  A while ago, WiseGuy came back just to let us know that CheeseWhiz had passed away, but I don't recall if he elaborated on the circumstances.  He would have still been a teenager, I believe.

This guy? https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?action=profile;u=1290

If I ever stop posting for two or more weeks, then you should all assume that I'm dead.  Please be sure to mourn appropriately.

This.

Seriously, if I don't give good reason for not being here for a prolonged amount of time, assume I'm dead.

A girl I actually knew rather well died of cancer in 6th grade. I recall an attempted suicide in 8th grade where a kid jumped off a roof, but he was lucky and didn't break anything. And then I'm still in 9th grade, so...

Some kid in my school hanged himself earlier this year. I heard rumours he did it in school (after the day concluded,) but it was never confirmed.

The school didn't talk much about it.

I remember a suicide in school, but that was a teacher.

Woah. That's...heavy. Like, during the schoolday?

My closest childhood friend surprised everyone by blowing her brains out when she was 16. Attractive, smart girl and no one saw it coming.

Did she leave a note?

One girl in my school suddenly died from a stress and over-tension. (In a classrom)

Woah...that's really weird. I've never heard of anything like that before.

She was in perfect health, btw. I think it was something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudden_infant_death_syndrome but for older kids.

Huh...that's really odd. How old was she?
