Those of you who read and write liberal blogs try to turn any social issue into an economic issue because you know you have lost the debate on social issues.

Oh, and no matter how many times you guys repeat the "conservative Republicans dominate the mainstream media" line, the majority of Americans will continue to strongly believe the opposite.

Those of you who read and write liberal blogs try to turn any social issue into an economic issue because you know you have lost the debate on social issues.

What do you mean 'lost the debate'?  As in the majority votes for intolerance?  Yes I would agree with that. 

I imagine what disturbs you, jfern and this blogger most is not that the Republicans won the debate on social issues last November, but that the Democratic leaders are tripping over themselves to "reach out" to social conservatives (Hillary being the most recent example).
