Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Jesus Christ.

This is really great so far. I feel sort of bad for Boehner, actually. He really doesn't seem like he wants to be doing any of this, but he doesn't seem like he's doing anything morally strong either. He seems almost prostrate before his own sense of duty but with incredibly twisted priorities on a level that could serious damage the country.

Will be eagerly awaiting updates on this.

I feel for a human being called Boehner TTL, but as of politician Boehner, he's just getting what deserved.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant by feeling only 'sort of' bad for him. Thank you for articulating it better than I could.

Gillibrand would make a great President one day but she needs to focus on serving at least her 2013-2019 Senate term first. The last time a President was elected after just four years in the Senate, he was basically an invertebrate before Congress. (Oh, sorry, did I say 'was'? I meant 'is'.)

Also, Gillibrand is a sex god. And I almost never say that about anybody.

Oh God, Peter King or Eric Cantor...I don't even...

This is one of the most gripping timelines I've ever read. The title is really, really not kidding.

Called it at 'even more than fifteen years ago'.

This is absolutely amazing. Best running timeline on the forum now.

I'm predicting no electoral college majority and a fractious contingent election in the House that undermines the legitimacy of whoever comes out on...we'll call it 'top', for now.
