I think so. The house I live in was built in the 15th-century so it's not unrealistic to assume that some unpleasant things, including murder, might have happened within these walls at some point.

Well sure I might then, in Europe, where "not long ago" can refer to the 15th century.  In America, heck no.

Oh, I didn't read the "not too long ago" part.

But I think my answer would still be yes. Unless the house was located in a neighbourhood where crime and murders aren't uncommon, I think I wouldn't mind.
