The premise of your question is so ridiculous that it isn't worthy of a response.

There's no reason for "red states" to succeed when the American system of government systematically overweights rural/conservative concerns.  If anything, its places like New York and California who would become increasingly disheartened with the American system were Trump to win a second term.
Lol when have liberal states ever even considered seceding? It’s always crybaby conservatives that are talking about seceding whenever the government tells them that they can’t use “much religion” to discriminate against people, or whenever the government bans super lethal guns that clearly shouldn’t be accessible to an ordinary citizen because of “muh liberties!”
Hartford convention.

In so far as there's been much talk of secession outside of the territories, most of what I've seen has been about California, though there still doesn't seem to be much real support for it. The secession-related memes, however, have suggested a liberal separation and union with Canada since the days of Dubya, with a tongue-in-cheeck proposal to have a the north and SW leave "Jesusland" to its own devices.

"CalExit" was exposed as a hoax promoted by an expat iiving in Russia, who changed his citizenship to Russian shortly after being exposed.  I can't imagine who put him up to it.

Lou Marinelli is a kook.

WELCOME TO CALEXIT may or may not be real.

Remember the Manson Family, Heaven's Gate, and Jonestown were all California movements. Maybe Marinelli was just a Californian being a nut.

Great example, Jimrtex. Got any that are actually within the last 200 years? Roll Eyes
How about removing all statues of persons who have been dead for 200 years or more?

Topple the obelisk in Washington, and look forward to the 4th of July in 6 years!
