Anybody here watching Season 3 of The Boys? I have to say, as much as I hate superhero crap, this show is an excellent antidote to Marvel/DC movies. It functions on multiple levels, ranging from a surface-level "what if" though experiment to a deep exploration of how people react to rigid hierarchies. Highly recommend.

I still can’t get over the fact that you didn’t like the Dark Knight Trilogy

I like the parts where the billionaire brutalized mentally ill people, criminals, and communists. The rest was mediocre at best.

Lol at The Dark Knight being mediocre

The Joker was the only memorable performance/character, to the point that he completely overshadowed the rest of the cast. Nothing else in the series stands out to me, and of course it goes without saying that it's full of plot holes and bloviating pretentiousness (like all Nolan movies).

Heath Ledger did society a great disservice by having such a memorable performance.

Heath Ledger did society a great disservice by having such a memorable performance.

Like Tyler Durden and Patrick Bateman, he will serve as an idol for edgy teens for years to come.

Beyond the edgeboi crowd, which could have found another idol, because of him, we've been doomed to yearly (I exaggerate) Joker rehashes for over a decade. Can you imagine that with any other comic book villain?
