Hello OSR. I believe you may have messaged me some time ago about this TL. I don't do much TL reading these days, so I regret I was unable to get back to you with much. I decided to pop in here, and I'm afraid my first comment is somewhat of a critique. You have above Jerry Brown win a Los Angeles mayoral primary. I find this very confusing, as, to my knowledge, Brown was very active in Oakland, CA politics, which is in the Bay Area, far north of LA.

EDIT: My bad, it appears you've answered this question, and that, in 1969, he actually ran for and won office in LA.
