While studying for the LSAT, I have come across a shady treasure trove of official LSAC-administered tests complete with answer keys. If anyone here is thinking of applying to law school anytime soon, PM me and I can show you how to access the PDFs.
Wow, so much lost potential. You're a smart and creative guy, you should be starting your own business or something.

With how much he enjoys talking about... other things, I am myself slightly mystified as to the whole "lawyer" thing.

Same! Sadly could not stay to kayak, hike, bike, and talk to outdoorsy chicks. Was just accompanying my brother on his cross-country move. Tongue

First out of state travel for 2020 completed, had to update the map.

90% Blue - Residency (MI)
70 % Blue - Stayed Multiple Nights Multiple Times (WI, MO, IL, WA)
50% Blue - Stayed Multiple Nights At Least Once (CA, TN, NV)
40% Blue - Stayed At Least One Night (MT, ND, IA)
30% Blue - Have Driven Through/Set Foot In (IN, OH, KY, MN, OR)
50% Green - Airport Only (AZ)

Some pretty obvious bias towards the Midwest and the West. Ideally would add the whole Mountain West, NY, NOLA, and parts of New England.

Trips cancelled owing to COVID: New Orleans, LA; Chicago, IL; Flagstaff, AZ; and (only tentatively scheduled/penciled in) WA.

I have secured a pretty good job that pays quite well and am now working on the logistics of relocating for the position, which is in the Burlington area of Vermont.

This must be like what an American leftist would have felt landing a job in Moscow forty years ago. Needless to say, congrats!

Just got back from a three-day jaunt in the Upper Peninsula. First time going there in probably over a decade. Hiking Pictured Rocks blew my mind. Absolutely astounding. Can't believe I haven't been before, and it's IN MICHIGAN. Probably my most fun traveling since 2016 when I first saw the Cascades, the Columbia River, and the Pacific.

From Wikipedia:

Quote
The following instructions apply only to English-language keyboards.

On Android devices, holding n or N down on the keyboard makes entry of ñ and Ñ possible.

On Apple Macintosh operating systems (including Mac OS X), it can be typed by pressing and holding the Option key and then typing N, followed by typing either N or n.

On the iPhone and iPad, which use the Apple iOS operating system, the ñ is accessed by holding down the "n" key, which opens a menu (on an English-language keyboard). Apple's Mac OS X 10.7 Lion operating system also made the "ñ" available in the same way.

The lowercase ñ can be made in the Microsoft Windows operating system by doing Alt+164 or Alt+0241 on the numeric keypad (with Num Lock turned on);[11] the uppercase Ñ can be made with Alt+165 or Alt+0209. Character Map in Windows identifies the letter as "Latin Small/Capital Letter N With Tilde". A soft (not physical) Spanish-language keyboard is easily installed in Windows.

In Microsoft Word, Ñ can be typed by pressing Control-Shift-Tilde (~) and then an N.

On Linux it can be created by pressing Ctrl+Shift+U and then typing '00d1' or '00f1', followed by space or Ctrl to end the character code input. This produces Ñ or ñ.

The only non-American keyboard I use is Cyrillic.

Aren't Save the Turtles bracelets like a meme?

What's that have to do with a gigantic sea turtle, holding the World aloft on Its back, serenely swimming through space?

Dropped my bike off on 7/7. Never got a ticket for it but they took down my phone number and they had previously been pretty lax about authentication so I didn't think much of it. Got a call 7/13 asking about specifics of the wheel repair. Therefore, we know they had the ticket then. Don't hear from them again. Call today. Describe bike. Talk to three different people at 2 different locations 5 times before I get a call back about the bike saying it's at the location where I dropped it off and asking me about the specifics of the repair. Repair will now cost more since wheels went up in the meantime. Should be getting it back today with the new wheel.

Gotta try and hold to this, but I need to hold off from here for awhile.

I don't plan to return until the weekend of my friend's wedding.

I'm too far behind in this job as is...not sure how the hell Xing and mathstatman keep it going so nicely, but they seem to. Either way, not much going on here, and I find myself a bit testier here and less restrained.

So yeah, time to get out of here for a bit.

Signing off,

Mr. Smith

Best of luck!

I have a new book coming out in February called Nevermind: Why Good People Evade Their Minor Responsibilities. I’ve been working on it for seven years. But I’m getting older now, and I’m not sure if I’ve even written it. So I’m hoping that if I ever finish it, someone will read it, and tell me what it’s all about.

Awesome, congrats! Cheesy

Have you considered goth?

Does he have the, uh, assets to pull it off properly?

I have realized in this exact moment that Del Tachi's name is most likely a play on words on Delta Chi (ΔΧ). I am feeling kinda stupid for this.

American Greek lyfe, bay-bee. Cool

I myself was only aware if the pun(?) when he explained it.

And no, I was not one of those who is afraid to talk. I have been roiling the waters, including sharing a rant at a zoom meeting last night of the Hudson Common Council.  The old man is on the rag - big time.

Slay, king!
