There's way too much hate for both Chicago and downstate in this thread. A few years ago, my family had to drive several hours in an incredible snowstorm to make it to a funeral. Absolutely amazing scenery. Wish I had an excuse (though not a funeral) to repeat that, but only with me in the driver's seat. And Springfield, my dad's hometown of sorts, isn't bad. Hit up the Cozy Dog while you're there.

Too much dang sauce for my taste.  Plus, try eating it the normal way without getting messy.  Pizza is to be eaten with one's hands, I say!  No fork required.

Blasphemy! The sauce is the best part of a pizza! 

That would be the bread, my good man.

And I've been to a restaurant that served pizza like the type Stewart showed for Chicago, and a fork wasn't necessary.
