I wish I had the day off tomorrow so I could head up to San Francisco and protest.

Don't protest the torch.  Protest China.  Leave the torch and the carrier alone.

Yet there is a difference in protesting and breaking lines to attack the torch and/or the runner.  If your winkie is too small and you feel that you have to assault the runner, then you are no better than those people you are protesting against.
