It's really simple.  Make abortions legal only in cases of rape, incest, and threat to the mothers health.  That removes abortion-on-demand as a form of birth control, especially since there are enough morning-after pills available these days which will work for a week after conseption. 

But then again, this goes back to people taking responsibility for their actions.  If you want to have sex, expect to get pregnant.  If you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex.  If you do get pregnant and don't see a doctor for a morning-after pill, then you failed in your responsibility to avoid pregnancy and now you have to be responsible for bring the child to term.  If you want to put it up for adoption, that's great.  If you want to raise the child yourself, even better.  But you have no room to complain for the failure of your initial responsibility.  There are so many people out there that are trying and failing to have kids of their own.  How dare you treat the life of the unborn so carelessly?
