Wonder what Carolyn Bourdeaux does after redistricting now?  LG or SOS 2022?  McBath probably has a seat after redistricting (going further than 9/5 looks exceptionally foolish now), but Bourdeaux definitely won’t.

Still in awe. GAGOP is so f-cked going forward. Lol.

Stacey Abrams is going to come for that Governor's seat and raise presidential sums of money in the process.

Yeah, GA-GOV is basically Lean D now.

I wonder if the senate results change the GOP plan on redistricting at all?  On the one hand, there is a lot more to worry about.  On the other hand, they know it is likely their last chance at it.

Do these races need to be certified at the same time, or will they be certified separately?  Because both Dems will take office as soon as the their race is certified, right?

Yes, they both take office upon certification.  The only difference is Loeffler can continue to serve until the swearing in, while Perdue's seat is already vacant.

It should be the same day for both unless Ossoff goes to a recount while Warnock doesn't.  Ossoff has seniority if it's the same day (it's alphabetical so O vs. W).

Per CNN: GA elections official Gabriel Sterling says that there is about 14,000 outstanding military ballots.

Worth watching because it could pull Ossoff back into recount range.

Why does Gerogia do a jungle primary? Why not have a state party convention like other states? If they had done that, they might have won an outright majority back in November

Or a primary election in August

It's a separate law that only applies to special elections.  A proposal to use the regular system for all elections failed in the legislature last year after Kemp threatened to veto it to protect Loeffler from Collins.

Results by congressional district, so far-

GA-06 stands out as one district where Perdue/Loeffler did better than Trump.

I think Perdue did better than Trump in GA-11, not sure about Loeffler.

Good catch, Trump won GA-11 by 15.3%, so it looks like Loeffler and Perdue outran him there slightly (although by less than the 4-6% margin difference between the two Senate candidates and Trump in GA-06).

The runoffs stand out as a more traditional Dem coalition than the presidential election.  GA-06 voted for Biden by almost as much as GA-02!
