Elon Musty changing Twitter branding and logo to "X"

It's more and more clear that Tesla's success was due to other people (minus the cars that caught on fire of course). He's taken a brand that was making money and decreased the value for stupid reasons. I wouldn't be surprised if a name change was next. Why not just call it Elon's Kingdom?

ITT: People thinking they have better decision making skills than the richest man on Earth.

It doesn't take being wealthy to understand what stupid business decisions are. That aside everyone who is honest knows that other people's decisions are responsible for his wealth. Every idea he has had for Twitter has reduced it's revenue.

So many people have said this, but it's worth repeating: the word "tweet" is literally in the dictionary.

Do you have any idea how big of a deal it is for your product to be used as a verb? You don't search for things, you "google" them.

Why Elon threw away the once-in-a-generation level of branding success... I will never know.

It's incredibly rare for that to happen and for a business it is a priceless advantage. Elon's problem is that he has an ego that drives him to do things that don't make any sense. That's why I say other people are responsible for his other successful ventures. Again, I'm not businessperson, but it doesn't take an MBA to know that if you buy an established brand that you leave the branding alone if you want it to keep generating revenue.

There was a ton of antisemitism trending on Twitter (that's what I'm still calling it) a couple of days ago, including an entire rewriting of history on Leo Frank. After Musk posted this insanity it is my belief that he pushed that's hateful hashtag on the trending list. He's playing a dangerous game and it can get people hurt.

The level of spam is ridiculous. If It's not adult content spamming replies It's crypto currency scams. Plus there are other scammers running ads selling cheap merchandise for much more than It's worth.
