I saw parts her speech. It was a good speech and I hope she continues to address criminal justice in a proper way.

She's my likely choice as of now.

I mean, she fought to keep an innocent man behind bars for pretty much no reason Tongue
Who cares? No one is voting based on that when there are far bigger issues at stake.
That man's family? You can support her without completely disregarding and hand-waving her faults.

He was released, so it's not like he's dying in prison.

If she gets the nomination she will come closer than Hillary in the electoral college, while still losing. She will probably win the popular vote.

Her campaign will inspire a generation of fantastic women of color to run for and win public office, but she won't be one of them. Not in 2020, at least. I will gladly vote for her in the general but I don't think at this time that I can vote for her in the primary. There are situations where I could see it happening, but that heavily depends on her campaign.

You have her losing and the campaign hasn't even started. Give me a break.

Would you like me to run through the list of the other 10+ Democratic candidates/potential candidates who would also likely lose?

No, that's not necessary and I was not asking you to do that. Thanks.

Anyway, Harris being viciously attacked by Bernie bros just shows how stupid was her decision to support Sanders's single payer bill in hope of being spared this treatment.
She should've known that these cultists only care for their God Emperor King and will not hesitate to smear and slander every other Democratic candidate even if their positions are identical with Saint Bernie's.

It isn't even about the issues anymore, they just have an unhealthy obsession with him. I've seen weird fan fiction and creepy drawings that have nothing to do with politics. It almost comes off as stalker fan like.

This years Hillary for sure, she certainly comes from the same vein of contrived, fake politics. Bernie supporters are (and already have) going to tear into her.

There is no similarity between her and Hillary Clinton, none whatsoever.

She correctly stated that there are many people who think that prosecutors should not exist. There isn't one candidate in this race who is going to guarantee that no one will ever go to jail ever again. No one is ever going to be totally soft on crime.

I don't think there is a candidate who is going to say crime shouldn't be punished and if one does end up saying that then they aren't going to get very far. Without handling crime there isn't much use for schools, especially in lower income areas with high crime. And one thing that should be noted is that Harris is against the death penalty which is something that she got a lot of complaints about as DA.

The crowd size argument has been faulty for a long time now, yet people still keep using it. Certain candidates (like Trump) have obsessed fans who will spend thousands of dollars to follow them anywhere which can skew overall attendance numbers. Smaller gatherings tend to be better anyway since the candidate is more accessible to the public.

From what I heard about a focus group that discussed potential liabilities of each candidate, the attacks about Harris' record as AG didn't even register with the group. With that said, attacking other candidates is not going to get Sanders the nomination.

Link?
It's on Twitter. But I'm probably lying to destroy Bernie because I'm an evil psycho path who doesn't realize that I should vote for him and am unworthy of his love /sarc

I like how it's now considered identity politics to say that it was wrong for somebody to run up on stage and snatch the microphone out of a candidate's hand. You don't snatch things out of people's hands or run up on stage, that's just common sense and sanity. It's got nothing to do with identity politics.
