Unlike Gosar, Laxalt doesn't have heavy partisan lean to fall back on and family coming out against him can hurt him. It's been known for some time that some of Laxalt's family doesn't care for him.

That's ok, the Senate can approve him anyway--Oh, wait. This is an election, so Republican politicians can't push him through as Governor. It's up to the voters.
