Ryan said on a local talk show that he'd give serious consideration to running, but not yet.

Rubio endorses Cotton, plans to endorse a few more Pub Senate hopefuls and probably campaign with them.

Buzzfeed reports on last night's confab at Woody Johnson's home. Says Paul might have more support among the Northeastern moneymen than expected.

NYP has more details for us: Christie, Paul, Rubio and Ryan were there. Christie and Paul generated the most buzz, with Christie focusing on his blue-state success and Paul on the need to attract African-American and Dem voters. Rubio focused on his bio.

Rubio was the only présidentiable to attend the Branstad fundraiser. Everyone else had scheduling issues.

Rubio wants his donors to donate $10k to Tom Cotton before the Q3 deadline, following up on his earlier endorsement. At this rate they'll probably campaign together next year.

NYT headline calls Warren the "hot ticket of the far left." Talk about trollish Dem establishment hackery. The article itself says that she was invited to headline Harkin's steak fry but she declined. She and aides repeatedly denied in interviews that she has any WH interest, but Axelrod is quoted as saying she'll face a lot of pressure to run if Hillary declines. Nor is Martin the only one to think this: Scheiber and Brownstein have also said that Warren would be Hillary's most formidable primary opponent. I don't think Warren runs in either scenario myself.

Hillary said she probably won't start thinking about it till sometime next year, like a couple of Pubs (Rubio, Perry) have already said.

This NJ story about Rubio dropping off the radar is from a few days ago. Today Norquist said the governors will be big players and Cruz/Rubio "just showed up."
