Not really. My family's comfortable, my great-grandfather lost are fortune when he married his third wife. He died, leaving no will, she got everything. My great-great aunt and great-great uncle are still alive, and when they pass away my grandparents will have a couple million dollars. But I don't want them to die, because they are really nice people.
Then you're quite well off.
My estimate is a couple million, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I don't see a penny of it, my family is very frugal. I live in a typical suburban house, except we don't have all the the great amenities our neighbors have. (Which is probably a good thing, because they bought crap they can never afford)
Anyway, you may consider my family well off, but we are just a fraction of our former wealth. My parents. My dad doesn't make over 80,000. My family was living the high life during the depression, but we aren't today.
We hjave the potential to get ectrodinarily wealthy, however, because my family has a lot of rare artifacts and treasures. One is the footage from nuclear bomb testing in the pacific isles, and the Manhattan projects early planning. Uncensored, all the things that were never realesed to the public. All the people who died of radiation poisoning, we have all the footage. I don't know how we aquired it.
