AFAICT he already has been for a few weeks. He seems to be the consensus choice over at this site. (The comment sections are hilarious; every single member is like dudeabides. One of them recently featured an extended thread about how America is being consumed by Fascist Naziism).

Both Trump and Carson are more dovish than any of the 2012 candidates except Ron Paul.
