Ige was probably going to lose before this, this just seals it.

Really?  I thought he was quite popular.

The hate boner this forum always has for Hanabusa is strange. She's no less "entitled" to the office than Schatz was or Ige is.
I still think Inouye’s will should've been done in regards to his seat, though Schatz has turned into an effective and progressive Senator.

He's just woefully inept and a very weak leader.

He has underwater approvals (38-35) with a ton of unknowns for someone who's been governor for three years already. 60% said they wanted "someone else" to be governor.

He was done the moment Hanabusa announced her campaign.

Ige apparently he knew it was a false alarm two minutes after the call went out, but dawdled in relaying the message

It's funny, Hanabusa and her political circle actually help elect Ige in 2014. Ben Cateyano and George Ariyoshi, 2 former Governors that are longtime Hanabusa allies supported Ige in 2014, but now support Hanabusa.
It’s almost like Ige’s been a really incompetent governor or something
