"Right now, I'm undecided between Bloomberg and Nader. I'll endorse one of them after watching the first debate" - Jesse Ventura.

"Dennis Kucinich is a great pick. Congratulations, Nader. Here you have a new supporter" - actor Sean Penn.

*If you want to complete your schedule (Bayh EDIT:and Nader) you can, it won't be useless but it won't have the same effects as if you had done it at time. If you had told me that you wouldn't be able to update this early I'd have had my update tomorrow, but you haven't...

What about having a debate next week? It'll change things if there's a clear winner, so you decide (1 vote for each candidate, you decide: I suppose at least 3 of you will vote 'yes' on the debate).

**McCain, Dean, you can use republican and democrat senators, governors or representatives as long as they haven't supported Bloomberg or Nader. I have some other democrats and/or republicans who may support Bloomberg or Nader, but I'm almost sure you won't use them in your campaigns. If you want a member of the opposite party endorsing you, PM me: if it's realistic enough, you'll have his/her endorsement.

***There won't be polls next week if you decide to have a debate. If it's the case (and I'm sure you want to debate) the next poll will be after the debate.

September 23th - September 29th starts now.

Poll has Dean and McCain even in Colorado (has DNC worked there?), Bloomberg and Dean almost tied in NY, Dean leading in Michigan, Bloomberg with the lead in Indiana. NH is a 3-way tie!

What-if this becomes a Dean vs. Bloomberg race? Pollster PRP will ask McCain, Bloomberg and Dean voters who's their second choice!

No National poll this week. Debate tomorrow!

Ralph Nader not on campaign trail!

Republicans abandoning John McCain? Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) endorses Michael Bloomberg ("Come on, John, I can't stand this campaign, how can it be soooooooo boring, soooo uninspiring. Bloomberg is my man, if he promises to fight for Alaskans interests"), and so does democrat representative Baron Hill (D-IN): "I like to say: I'm just like Evan Bayh, but I'm not your Senator. I'm your representative. So, if I tell people I'm just like him, I have to support him. But I'm still a democrat, and I'm running for reelection, I want this to be clear".

Republican-turned-independent, senator Jim Jeffords (I-VT), endorses Howard Dean: "I have to say this now: I voted for Howard Dean more than once -and more than twice, too-. He's been a great Governor, he's done a great job, he really has. And I'm endorsing him not only because of that, but also because he is the voice of rural America". VT Governor, Jim Douglas (R-VT) says Dean would make a great President, will decide who will get his support after the debate.

I hate being authoritarian, but you should have told me that you had an important test, so I wouldn't have updated the game yesterday!! I'll have an update for tomorrow or Thursday (AFTER your test, so tell me when it is). It's NHI who decides when to release his poll, until then you can answer his questions.

If my campaign is boring, then how am I supposed to make it more exciting?

Dean, Bloomberg and Nader have seen their polling numbers improve since DNC ended. Compare their posts with your posts, it's nothing personal, Oldies. It's just that I think their posts have been, generally speaking, better. Am I not being objective? Because I'll check every post again if other people agree I've not been fair to you.

OOC: The other three candidates are all going to be at an advantage over myself as they'll be able to compare their responses to mine. Imagine how beneficial it'd be to be in a debate where you know exactly what others have said. Despite having my own RL distractions, I posted my responses as soon as possible, and despite my efforts, this game is going to be delayed waiting for everyone else to respond. I think that deserves a little bit of a boost. Maybe NHI will decide that there should be consequences for waiting around for others to post their response and he'll grade the debate tonight or tomorrow, as was planned.

I understand your point of view. I'd keep that in mind for my poll, and I'm sure NHI does, too. And here's why: in the last democratic debate, Dean posted first, and Obama second. IMHO, Obama had better answers, but I'd had given Dean the win, and that's what NHI did, so I suppose he knew that it would've been unfair to Dean if Obama had a slim victory only because he posted after reading his answer.

So, I wouldn't worry. Someone has to be the first, BTW!

I think you can release your poll, NHI. Dean, you have to post your answers as soon as possible if you don't want to lose the momentum you were picking!

*A bad performance could be enough to stop your momentum, anyway. But you won the 2 democratic debates, you are good at this.

Bloomberg narrowly wins debate, Americans say! Democrats loved Nader.

Former Mayor Ed Koch (D-NY), Representative Mike Castle (R-DE), former Governor Bob Ehrlich (R-MD) and Nancy Brinker (R-IL) endorse Bloomberg.

Governor Jim Douglas (R-VT) endorses Howard Dean.

Each of you (Presidential candidates, not VPs) have the right to request 3 state polls which will be released during this week -tomorrow, that is-.

Bloomberg has already posted September 30th and Bayh the entire week. Next debate will be among VP candidates, next week, does anyone want to be the moderator? I hope NHI can moderate the next Presidential debate, which will be the following week. Do you think we need yet another Presidential debate or is it enough with 2 and 1 for VPs?

If you find any former player who wants to post something as a surrogate, of course you can. That said, it doesn't help a lot (but at least helps a bit). The really important thing is what the Presidential candidate and his running-mate says, where he goes to...

Oh, and this time Jerry will have to show me his post-debate poll (NHI was totally free to do that, and will be in the following Presidential debates) for obvious reasons, so be sure that the winner of the poll is the winner of the debate.

OOC: Looks like that Mr Gravel is trying to reduce my chances on Alaska! :/

All right! Now I'll have my owm surrogates! Who wants to be Jesse Ventura, Rocky Anderson, Noam Chomsky, Carol Moseley or Jello Biafra?

My polls claim: Georgia and Oregon.

I would like to ask the support of former Senator George McGovern and Michael Moore!

Buddy Roemer and Jimmy McMillan!

It'd have been better if you PMed me instead of posting that here. And I don't think there are many people interested on being surrogates, only the ones who had a role in this game... But if you find them, use them!

Oldies, you can be Pataki in the debate if you want to, because sooner than later Jerry will release his poll and you not taking part in the debate would have bad press...
