I was cruising around the net when I found this....



Here's a close up of the NYC area



These states come from this site

The aim of the map is to make each state of equal population. Hence each states woudl have the same weight in the EC. Of course this wouldn't happen but It's interesting to think about how each state would vote.

Had a go at splitting up the states according to county and applying 2004 results. Heres CA



Top is Williamette which also has Oregon. Bottom (Green) is 'Nice Weather' which has Hawaii.
