as ive stated many times, there are areas in pa and ohio where populism plays well.

however, both states are becoming more and more suburban.  populism doesnt play well in those areas.  i realize little casey won the philly suburbs, but that was mainly because he wasnt rick santorum.  period.

even my advocation of universal healthcare does not play well in suburbia.  their mindset is 'i have health care, why should i pay for the idle freeloaders?'

No.  The attitude is clearly "I have mine, screw  you and everyone else.  And don't talk to the neighbors.  I will sit in my prefabricated palace and get fat off of cheap processed food and bitch about poor people all day."

Uh, you're begining to sound like Opebo.

Now, while I do disagree with WM on many matters, there is no need to misrepresent his viewpoints.

WM is a liberal Republican, who supports government health care and opposes the right to keep and bear arms.
