Claims came out yesterday at 436,000.  What you should be asking is what the unemployment rate will be today. 

I noticed you didn 't answer the question.

So I'll make it clearer.  Where the unemployment claims numbers down, stable or unexpected?

Oh, and as to the 'unemployment rate.'  It will be as low as BLS can fudge the numbers.

You might want to check the ratio of the number employed, relative to the number of americans age 16 or older.

The official unemployment rate increased to 9.8%

The number of new jobs was unexpectly low.

LOL, fail. If you expect something to be "unexpected", then it can't be unexpected.

Yup!

The problem is that the American liberal views media is so totally unable to deal with reality that whenever the economic news is unfavorable, they label it "unexpected."
