I'm thinking Hoover (due to causing the Great Depression and making it much more severe) and maybe Nixon (due to Watergate) and Wilson (due to failing to make the U.S. join the League of Nations). Were there any other President(s) that were that unpopular worldwide when they left office, though?

lol. Ike, Ford, Reagan, and Bush Sr. were pretty popular worldwide when they left office.

Reagan is in a category of his own. Bush Sr. is another rare exception and I'm not sure we'll ever have anyone comparable to the way those 2 handled foreign matters.
