All right, we have reached the quorom. (I have not yet counted outofbox's sign in, since he is still a registered Federalst.)

The first order of business is nominations. Are there any nominations for Chairman and Vice-Chairman?

I'm down with that.

Since we don't seem to have any other nominations and a good amount of time has passed, I'll open up voting.

Chairman:
[ ] Deus Naturae
[ ] Write-in

Vice-Chairman:
[ ] Dallasfan65
[ ] Write-in

Voting shall last for 48 hours.

Voting has ended. Deus Naturae is elected Chairman and Dallasfan65 is elected Vice-Chairman.

I'm not sure if you've stated whether or not you will be endorsing candidates for races outside of the Democratic-Republican Party, but if you are, I would like to request your endorsement for the Midwest Senate race. I am not a libertarian and I do not make any bones about that, but I think that if you'll look at my record, you'll find that I agree with libertarians more often than not when it comes to the nature of the state as far as civil rights and civil liberties are concerned. I shepherded through the passage of the Comprehensive Drug Reform Act of 2013, legalizing previously illicit substances. I have likewise been a champion of the right to privacy and prison reform, two issues on which I promise concrete results in my next term.

I don't think we have any Democratic-Republicans in the Midwest, but I'll hold a vote on all elections regardless.

Who's responsibility is it to open votes on party endorsements? Mine or Dallasfan's?

Mine, as the Vice Chairman. I have to run to the store but I'll do it upon return.

The party has voted unanimously to endorse Spiral/Dallasfan65 for President/Vice President. Smiley

Poirot and DC Al Fine have gotten a majority of endorsement votes, and thus are endorsed.

For Midwest Senate there were two votes for Lumine, one vote for TNF, and two abstentions. If TNF is eliminated in the 'first round' my vote for him transfers to Lumine, making a majority. Thus, Lumine is endorsed.

The election's over, guys.

The Spiral/Dallasfan65 ticket did not prevail. However, we did get a considerable showing (24% on the first round.) By comparison, my write-in effort in October only garnered 9% of the vote, so I'd say that's a considerable improvement. Whether that's sustainable or not is yet to be seen, but I'm hopeful about our future prospects.

However, where we did well were down-ballot races. Deus Naturae won a full term in the Northeast Assembly, and Small L won reelection to the IDS Legislature. I also won the Northeast Governorship. Not too shabby for a party with nine members!

All right, pep talk over. Smiley Let's cut to the chase of the Special At-Large election, since that's right around the bend.

Ballot:
[ ] Cincinnatus (Independent)
[ ] Adam Griffin (Labor)
[ ] Poirot (Independent)
[ ] LuminevonReuenthal (Progressive Union)

Bump.

What are the specs on the Mideast elections? I understand there was a change in the makeup of the region, but it may still be worth holding an endorsement vote.

Well, that was fast. But an informal vote works too. Tongue

And welcome home, Max Smiley
