Will anyone do maps for these later?  Also municipal breakdowns in some would be interesting especially ones with large contrasts.  It does seem looking through various and other counties, Trump had blowouts in rural portions making a lot of counties look redder than they really are.  Urban cores almost everywhere went for Biden and suburbs usually went for Biden, but some went to Trump.  However even in states where suburbs traditionally voted to right of rural areas, that was almost never the case this time around.  Indianapolis and Milwaukee suburbs used to be as recently as Obama era the GOP's best showing in state, now they are voting to left of most rural counties.

California: 11/14/20-  Counties with Precinct data currently available:

Again there are still being votes counted, canvassed, certified even in small CA Counties, so I would be cautious about using precinct data for areas with significant amounts of votes outstanding at this point.

Note California unfortunately does not have a centralized precinct reporting system, and I recall even back in the 2018 GE, I was still missing official precinct results for (3) counties, which I had to unofficially obtain elsewhere. (Some geeks actually pay $ for counties that don't post data, or pester the local County elections office enough that some clerk just emails the files out to get rid of the constant requests)   Wink

Let's just start with a few of the largest Counties, since I don't want to go through all (58) counties at this point.

Marin County:   Typical ENR Engine... click on results by precinct on the right of the webpage.

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/CA/Marin/107124/web.264614/#/summary

Merced County:  Typical ENR Engine... click on results by precinct on the right of the webpage.

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/CA/Merced/107145/web.264614/#/summary

Orange County:

Basically a PDF and 1st post election night update.

https://ocfelections.com/webapps/results/Unofficial%20Election%20Results%20Precinct.pdf

Sacramento County:

Click on Precinct Results towards the bottom of the page

https://results.saccounty.net/resultsSW.aspx?type=PRES&map=MPRC&shape=Nov2020

San Francisco:

Click on Statement of Vote and Excel and you get prelim precinct results for the City!

https://sfelections.sfgov.org/november-3-2020-election-results-detailed-reports

Santa Clara:

One of my favorite counties in CA for elections reporting, because they update daily, plus they got that groovy precinct map!

Another modified ENR engine, but you can always just jump over to the left and nab your precinct results in whatever preferred file format you want!

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/CA/Santa_Clara/106043/web.264614/#/summary

Sonoma County:  ENR Engine, you should know the drill by now for heisting your precinct #s.

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/CA/Sonoma/107135/web.264614/#/summary

There are probably some counties I'm missing since I didn't go through every single county yet, knowing how CA precinct results typically roll in, so why waste tons of time at this point.

For Orange County, there was somewhere they gave breakdown by municipality.  Do you know which site that is?  Realize not final but still good rough estimate.

Texas: 11/18/20 Update- 10/254 Counties

Adding a few of the largest counties just for starters. (I'll keep adding to the list. Back in 2018 I believe I was only able to track down about 50% of the Counties in Texas for official online precinct results)

To paraphrase a Gary Nunn song: "you can ask me what I hate about Texas... it's the precincts lines Statewide. Everything between the Sabine and Rio Grande.... you ask me what I love about Texas, and I can be here all.... night...long"

Cameron County:

https://www.cameroncounty.us/elections/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/GN20-PCT-BY-PCT_202011101648.pdf

Collin County:

Scroll down and click on the Statement of Votes Cast at the bottom of the page.
I would post the full URL, but it would blow up the size of the Atlas Page.

https://www.collincountytx.gov/elections/election_results/Pages/default.aspx

Dallas County:

*** Download the precinct zip file ***

https://www.dallascountyvotes.org/election-results-and-maps/election-results/historical-election-results/#Election

Denton County:

Standard ENR engine. Click on precincts on the right of the webpage.

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/TX/Denton/105530/web.264614/#/summary

El Paso County:

https://el-paso-county-elections.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/files/000/003/188/original/Official_Final_Precinct_by_Precinct_Results.pdf?1605641831

Fort Bend County:

https://www.fortbendcountytx.gov/home/showdocument?id=56566

Harris County:

https://www.harrisvotes.com/HISTORY/20201103/Official%20Canvass.pdf

Hidalgo County:

https://www.hidalgocounty.us/DocumentCenter/View/42882/County-Precinct-Results-11-13-2020-12-19-54-PM

Tarrant County:

Typical ENR engine... Precinct downloads on the Right.

https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/TX/Tarrant/105205/web.264614/#/summary

Travis County:

https://countyclerk.traviscountytx.gov/images/pdfs/election_results/2020.11.03/G20%20Final%20Precinct.pdf

For Travis county and Dallas county, they only give precinct numbers, not name of municipalities, do you know which number range is Dallas and which number range is Austin?  Also be interesting in both if anybody knows which municipalities Trump won.  Also El Paso would be interesting too.

Looks like Biden won Fort Wayne.  50.5% to 47.4%, wondering if Obama won it in 2008 or if this was a gain?

Here is Bergen County, New Jersey.

https://www.co.bergen.nj.us/images/County_Officials/Boards__Commissions/Bergen_County_Board_of_Elections/About/Precinct_Summary_Nov_2020.pdf

Biden flipped a bunch of municipalities: Carlstadt, Hillsdale, Ho-Ho-Kus, Lyndhurst, Mahwah, Midland Park, Montvale, North Arlington, Northvale, Oakland, Old Tappan, Paramus, Park Ridge, Ramsey, River Vale, Rochelle Park, Upper Saddle River, Waldwick, Wood-Ridge and Wyckoff. Nobody in Rockleigh nor Teterboro bothered to vote this year.

Looks like he flipped most of the well to do predominately white municipalities which seems to be a national trend.  Donald Trump may be rich and white, but it seems many others in this group are running away from GOP under him.  In some ways seems not just here but nationally, the areas that were strongest for Reagan in 1984 are the areas that swung hardest away from GOP.

11/22/20 Texas Update:

I have updated the links upthread for Texas to include an additional (11) larger Counties:

Bell
Brazos
Ellis
Galveston
Guadalupe
Hay
Jefferson
Lubbock
McLennan
Montgomery
Webb

At this point we now have access to precinct data for almost Counties in Texas with a population over 100k.

Do you have links for these?

12/7/20 Update:

Alabama apparently dumped all of their precinct results while I was snoozing (or bird dogging around the wrong hunting grounds!)

https://www.sos.alabama.gov/alabama-votes/voter/election-data

*** Scroll down a couple notches on your mouse, and click on "General Election Results - Precinct Level" and tap on the download button, and you will get a massive zip file, where you can go county by county and manipulate data in an Excel format. That is what I call Southern Hospitality!!!!   ***

Now I can examine election results from Auburn and Tuscaloosa for US PRES & SEN Elections!   Wink

For Jefferson County, do you know which precincts are predominately in Birmingham vs. rest of county.  For Madison county, which are Huntsville, which are Mobile for Mobile county and which are Montgomery for Montgomery county.  Since they go by voting place, go for ones where voting station is in the municipality even if some in precinct go outside boundary, otherwise just want to get approximate not exact.

I am getting impatient waiting for certain States to update centralized sources so decided to expand my terrain slightly, and hopefully am not wasting too much time locating links for data, which will be posted elsewhere shortly.

Nevada- Counties/City Reporting by Precinct 6/17 reporting:

*** Added link at the post at the top of the thread to Counties reporting precinct results outside of centralized Statewide sites ***

Carson City:

https://www.carson.org/government/departments-a-f/clerk-recorder/elections-department/election-results-and-historical-information

Clark County:

https://www.clarkcountynv.gov/government/departments/elections/past_elections.php

*** Select the 2020 General Election, and then under "type of information" select "statement of votes cast" ***

Douglas County:

https://cltr.douglasnv.us/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Official-2020-General-Election-Results.pdf

Elko County:

https://www.elkocountynv.net/2020%20General%20Canvass%20and%20Abstract%20of%20the%20Vote.pdf

Nye County:

https://www.nyecounty.net/DocumentCenter/View/37739/November-3-2020-Unofficial-General-Election-Results

*** Scroll down to around page 7 to start viewing ***

Washoe County:

https://www.washoecounty.us/voters/elections/2020-general-election-results.php

Anyone able to code Washoe County and get breakdown by city.  Curious what Reno, Sparks results were.

For Clark county, if someone can give me precinct #'s for Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Paradise, and Henderson, I can calculate those.  Especially curious if Trump held Henderson or Biden flipped it.

With this wondering if paid site will do by township for Iowa and also Ohio has a sheet where you can do this.  I know they have it up for Wisconsin and Michigan already.

Hi mileslunn---

Not sure what you mean by paid site, but it looks like most of the larger counties in Iowa do have their precinct names identified by municipality.

For example in Polk County there will be a ton of precincts coded Des Moines, West Des Moines, etc...

Dallas County, West Des Moines, Waukee, Urbandale, etc...

Haven't gone through and looked at all of the larger counties, but tbf Iowa does actually make it easier to quickly grab municipal numbers than most States, where you need to code precinct numbers against maps, municipal elections, looking out for split precincts, etc....

I meant this site where you don't even have to calculate them.  But for Iowa it is super easy so anyone want any particular one let me know and happy to calculate.  Precincts seem fairly large and so very easy to do in spreadsheet.

i was more referring to on this site you can pay to get data by municipality for Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin at moment and in past elections for New York, Pennsylvania and a few others and imagine you will on this site later.
