Governor, it has been over one month since CJO Cinyc has posted on the forum. Do we need to declare that office vacant and look for a replacement?

Thank you for your service, Winfield. You have been a fine governor so far and it will be disappointing to not have you on the ballot in the upcoming election.

After much soul searching and contemplation, I have come to the difficult decision that I will not be a candidate for Governor of the Northeast in the coming election, to be held August 19-21, 2011.       

The next election for Governor will be held in October. I apologize for failing to notice an error in my Vital Civic Information Thread that led you to believe otherwise. It's relieving that you will be staying on, I presume, as Governor until then.

I remember your term as Governor fondly, Winfield. Since the constitution was passed (thanks largely to Napoleon), I feel like your governorship marked the beginning of the resurrection of the Region. It will be sad to see you go, and I'm sorry to see the presidential campaign didn't turn out as planned, but I trust that we are in good hands with Governor Snowstalker.
