No one was ever ahead in FL by 17 that year.

It was a fun election year, but if Kerry was ahead by 17 amongst ppl who voted early, then it's cuz they voted twice. Everyone knows how democrats like ACORN like to vote multiple times and put ppl like Al Franken in office.
