As a millennial and a progressive, I will be voting Trump in the GE if Hillary is nominated. Frankly, right-wing progressivism is more welcome to me than corporatist stagnation. And there is the very real chance Trump just played all the Republican voters and is actually more liberal than Hillary. I'll take a fascist moderate over center-right Hillary.

#NeverClinton

I honestly think this may be one of the worst posts in Atlas Forum history.

A fascist what?

someone who is 55% fascist and 45% communist

A moderate hero fascist.

And just for the record, before I was self-employed, yes: I did beat my meat at work. Yet somehow, I managed to do all the work I would have done on the job anyway and the company didn't lose any actual money!

In which Griffin doesn't understand why someone might have a problem with him masturbating at work.

I don't see how this is a bad post. It's actually kind of funny.

It's not funny at all. I used to have a classmate that was very actively "beating his meat" during classes, thinking that due to him being seated in the back row no one is going to notice.

Needles to say, we are still traumatized by that experience.

In class?

Thinking was not his usual occupation. The best part was when the teacher noticed he's doing something conspicuous under the desk and asked what was that about. He blushed and replied with a great deal of hesitation. "Me? Um.... um.... rumpling".

I find that extremely offensive. I'm offended with the people who can't masturbate without looking at the porn. Don't they have an ounce of imagination?

What the hell is this man babbling about now? What's a griss? Does anybody know Huh

Interesting that so many on here think Griss has not much of a chance to win the Presidential election, when the polls actually say the opposite ...

That's one way to put it, but really it's just racism.

No, just stupid hackishness.

Talk about bad what-if post...

So, after being inspired by this: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=112804.0, I decided, hey, why not?

ok now heres the timeline

Alfred Landon gains a huge donation from Fred Trump. With this huge donation, Landon buys the South, the Midwest, the Southwest, the west coast and literally every state that isn't the east coast. Landon campaigns on Long's "every man a king" platform and says that anyone the votes for him will become a king.

November 1st, 1936: Election day

Landon/Knox: 327 EVs
FDR/Garner: 210 EVs

What happens next? I don't know you figure it out

I wouldn't expect anything less from a state that held the Scopes Trial.

Yeah, how dare a state try to combat eugenics. Those lesser humans need to get with the game and die off for our new utopia. So progressive!

Just popping in to say stop crapping on Buchanan. He did the best he could given the time he was president. No one else could have done a better job, barring unrealistic scenarios where the Free Soil Party somehow won office and freed all the slaves.

Hey, I was referring to the very historic moment of his defeat. Is it my fault he used his children as campaign props?

In all seriousness, Bush was having minor primary challengers.

Dole was, at least briefly, seen as a pretty serious threat to Bush.

Especially after winning Iowa. Bush campaign was fighting for their lives in New Hampshire and prevailed, in no small part due to going negative.

And, btw, Bradley was also, briefly, seen as a serious threat to Gore in 2000. Poor bastard was unable to make use of his New Hampshire performance, because media was talking about McCain only.

Trump is not a paleoconservative. In fact, Trump is a progressive democrat in GOP clothing.

If Corbyn fails or retires, Livingstone is now perfectly positioned to engage in a hostile takeover of an increasingly Muslim Labour.

2018 and 2020 will determine redistricting for the next decade. That will got a lot worse under a Hillary Presidency.

Right, because having the Supreme Court stay in the hands of Republicans who will keep f**king up the Voting Rights Act is totally what the country needs.
A probable Republican Supreme Court Justice is a small price to pay for a president not beholden to lobbyists and corporations, as Hillary would be. Besides, it's not like Trump could pick anyone much more conservative than that filth Merrick Garland.

This must be the dumbest post of not only 2016, but since at least 2014.

Mild FF. I'd outright admire him if he didn't essentially make himself president for life. I admire his piety and zealous defense of Christianity while our pathetic leaders in the godless West worry more about not offending minorities than fighting terrorism and promoting the values that made the West great in the first place. For centuries, Russia was the bulwark of Christendom, and under Putin, she is fulfilling her destiny once more.

On a theoretical level, I actually prefer Stalin to Trotsky. Trotsky was basically an anarchist. His criticisms of Stalin weren't that Stalin murdered millions of people, it was that Stalin established a strong state apparatus.

"Soft segregationism"

I am not a racist and I have no reason to think that I would have been a racist during the Vietnam War era. I am obviously completely opposed to segregation, but at the time, I probably would have opposed desegregation busing and sympathized with soft segregationists.
