They were right wing fascists, not progressive liberals.

I'm seriously wondering if you ever really read any of opebo's posts.

The only opebo posts I don't read are the pointless and unfunny bitch fests with Gustaf.

If opebo is so right wing and fascist why does he hate the US and nationalism so much? And why does officepark hate him as well?

So now officepark hating or liking someone is a political bellwether?

Being in favour of totalitarian monarchy and a society where all power and money is inherited is hardly liberal or socialist. Just like favouring the slaughtering of people who want democracy.

The ironic thing is that opebo's views on Gaddafi strongly contradicted those voiced here by BRTD.

BRTD is certainly mistaking old-school egoistic hedonism straight from ancien regime Versailles with "progressivism".

Well, I like opebo, but he's not progressive hero.

Christ, BRTD, not being a close-minded bigot on sexuality/gambling/relligion etc. etc. doesn't automatically makes you a social progressive.

The picture is little wider, you know...

Opebo is actually more like Valmont from the Dangerous Liaisons: an aristocratic libertine during ancien regime era, interested only in pursing his own pleasure and hating social norms for that reason only.

Just because such a type hates social restrictions because of his own egoism, doesn't make him progressive nor a socialist.

Again, picture is far wider.

And btw, I actually respect opebo because he's absolutely sincere about his positions, BRTD is badly misreading.

So are Gustaf and Kalwejt going to argue that Eliot Spitzer isn't a progressive or socially liberal?

...

...

...

Eh...

I didn't know Eliot Spitzer was a vocal supporter of Gaddafi's slaughter of thousands of his own people, or a proponent of inherited privileges.

In other words, how the f**k was that comparison even remotely relevant?

OK, I understand now!

Screwing prostitutes is the only issue seperating liberals from conservatives. The whole rest is irrevelant.

A little question to BRTD I'd like to have an answer:

How are you going to comment on opebo's admiration of Gaddafi and his regime?

I disagree with it.

What I don't understand is why a fellow Gaddafi supporter as yourself is attacking him over it.

Actually, I'm not a Gaddafi supporter. I know it's hard to believe in your black and white world that someone may not wish to support either of two sides.

I don't know guys... BRTD is either a great troll who's folling mosty of us, or he really don't understand why he's a laughstock here.

Because I don't like calling people stupid, I'll go with the first option.
