5:00 AM November 7th. 2012- Governor Pawlenty appeared to concede this morning in Minneapolis.

"I came here tonight to congratulate President Clinton on her victory. It has been a long grueling battle, and athough we lost, I, and I hope my supporters accept our defeat. If it is what America thinks is right, then this must be what is right for our country. I called President Clinton earlier to congratulate her on victory. We did however, win both houses tonight...

*Applous*

...And now it is time for both parties to unite and fight our problems togethor. Good night, and god bless America!"

6:00 AM, November 7th- The President thanks supporters on the White House Lawn,

"This night, four years ago I was elected President of the United States. And tonight, I'm gonna be kept in office for another four years! We can now continue to put our country in the path of progress! We can make this country and better place , and this world along with it!...

...Thank you America, and Good Night!"

CNN can now confirm that Ron Paul refuses to concede, and demands a recount because he believes the election was rigged.

November 2012- Following President Clinton's reelection, the President has not yet announced any changes to his cabinet. with The GOP taking both the Senate, and the House, new Speakers have been chosen this month to fill in the positions of Ron Wyden, and Nancy Pelosi. Eric Cantor (R-VA) will be the New Speaker of the House. Mitch McConnell will be the new Senate Majority Leader. Senator Wyden walked home today with a solemn face, having a record short reign of two years. The White House has been kept safe so far with no major news out of Afghanistan, or Pakistan.

December 2012- With new unemployment numbers at 8.5%, President Clinton made a speech in Cleveland early this month, tauting the administration's progress on the nation's economy. Secretaries Kaine, and Gibbs announced a flight to Pakistan on the 12th.

During the trip to Pakistan, chaos occured. On December 19th, a helicopter was shot down by the Taliban that contained, Kaine, Gates, and Pakistani President Zardari. Kaine and Gates have been retrieved from the wreckage safely, but the Zardari appears to have passed.

Once returning to Washington, Secratery Gates had and immediate meeting with the President urging her to ignore the islamic country's protests and to take military action in Pakistan. Following the meeting, on the 23rd, President Clinton announced that she will replace Gates with former Senator Bill Nelson. Prime Minister Gillani will take Zardari's place.

Anyway...

January 2013- With finally having all troops out of Iraq after ten long years, the President made a victory speech today in Baghdad. President Clinton stayed in Iraq until the 18th, talking with the Iraqi's Leaders, and overseeing Iraqi civilians help rebuild the country without American soldiers watching them. It was a grand day for the Iraqi people, and the Democratic Party. On the twentieth, President Clinton was re-inaugurated on Capital Hill with cheers from all across America. Nothing had been heard of yet from the missing explosives in Pakistan. Unemployment reached 8.2% this month. All was good.

February 2013- Unemployment stood still at 8.2% this month. Terror struck oversea's again, although not from Al Qaeda or the Taliban. Iran announces plans on the tenth to launch a ground invasion of Iraq. By the end of the month, 50,000 Persian troops were on the ground. The President and the UN, have had strongly condemned and sanctioned Iran for it's acts. Washington is furious.

March 2013- Unemployment raised to 8.3% this month. Following Iran's actions, North Korea has sent 25,000 of it's own troops into the South. South Korea is strongly fighting back, and the Associated Press can now confirm the South Korea has received military reinforcements from Japan. President Clinton confirmed on the 21st that The US will deploy 10,000 troops to South Kore to help out. While having her Approval Rating brought down form the two foreign invasion's, she still seems to have a bump from the ende of the Iraq war.

President Clinton Approval Rating
Approve 54.3%
Disapprove 39.6%

April 2013- Unemployment dropped to 8.1% this month. The White House has not yet announced any military plans for North Korea, or Iran, and has instead decided to focus on economic issues. Democrats in the house have begun debating a bill to legalize marijuana this month, along with plans to develop a progessive tax. Israel launched several airstikes on Tehran later in the month.

I'll update this sooner or later. It's just so boring doing the non election stuff after 2012. Once it gets to 2015, it'll go back to normal pace. (Update every day or so)

And I have two interactive tls I'm doing as you know, so I don't that much time for this right now. I'm definately not ditching this though.

2013- Throughout the rest of the year, recovery from the recession remained sluggish leaving off at 7% in December. In October, Iran ended it's combat mission in Iraq after strong intervention by the UN. The war in Korea continues, athough briefly stalled due to the transition of power between Kim Jong Il, and his son. Both democratic bills failed, after being blocked by the newly republican congress. Republicans kept the Virginia Governor's race, while Democrats won in New Jersey when Christie declined to run for a second term.

2014- In the Korean War, the South has begun to gain an upperhand, and now has less than half the casualties of the north. In other news this year, Steve Jobs died of cancer, along with JOhn McCain, and former President Jimmy Carter. The main headlines of the year were the incredibly close midterms. The Republicans kept the House.

Updates will only be on weekends.

What's Romney doing right now? I gather he's not the heir apparent to any Republican nomination given that he's been in Hillary's cabinet and tried to work for Universal Healthcare on a national level. Will he run for Senate or something in the future?

He will come back into play very shortly. Not an heir apparent, but he'll be there. Wink

Who's the Democrat that won the Georgia Governor's Mansion? Smiley

Roy Barnes wins in a rematch with Oxendine.

January 1, 2015- On the first of the year, Mitt Romney made headlines when announces that hew would run for president in 2016 in front of a crowd in Boston. The Governor said that he had made a great mistake when he had joined President Clinton's cabinet and he deeply hopes that the Republican party can accept his apology.

(Now just imagine him and everybody else slightly greyer and older)

January 7, 2015- Following the field being officially opened six days earlier, Rick Santorum announces that he will too make a bid for the presidency. This is Santorum's second run for the presidency, losing to fellow republican Tim Pawlenty three years ago.

January 15, 2015- The RNC and DNC both announced today that the primary scheduling will all coincide, and that with a new revised calender the first states will consist of Colorado, New Jersey, Illinois, and Virginia.

January 17, 2015- Just two days after the calender revision, vice President Obama announced that he will be running to replace President Clinton with whom he has worked with for the past seven years. Obama is the first democrats to announce his candidacy.

January 25, 2015- Another candidate made an entry to the republican primary today with former tea party vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Ever since her campaign in 2012, Sarah has become a political icon thought stupid by most.

January 29, 2015- First-Term Florida Senator Marco Rubio announced that he will be the fourth Republican running this year. Many pundits are suprised that most speculated candidates have declined to announce their intentions yet. (ex. Pawlenty, Daniels, Jindal, Warner etc)

Republicans
Santorum 36.4%
Romney 24.8%
Palin 20.8%
Rubio 2.3%

Generic Ballot: Democrats 45%, Republicans 40%

Well, of the four Republicans runnign, you don't give me much of a choice on who to support. Santorum and Rubio both have only been Senators, Palin is perceived as too stupid, and Romney's a turn coat who's begging to be let back into the party. Sad

Don't worry, there's more to come. Wink

February 4, 2015- Vice President Obama is officially not the only person running the the democratic nominee. This afternoon, Senator Evan Bayh announced that he will be running for the Presidential nomination.

February 14, 2015- A third Democrat announced their bid for the presidency today in the form of Mark Warner. Warner and Bayh are expected to apeal to the more conservative wing of the Democratic Party.

February 27, 2015- The Republic Field continues to widen as Today, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul announced that he will make a run for the Presidency as a Republican. Given the previous candidates, I'd go for Daniels because:
He's been a two term Governor (unlike Rubio, Santorum, and Paul)
He's not a closet Liberal (Romney in this one, possibly in real life)
He hasn't been the party nominee before (Pawlenty)
He's not perceived as an idiot (Palin)

By the way, what happened to Mike Pence and Lou Dobbs?

Mike Pence is mulling over a bid for the Governors office.
Lou Dobbs moved to Fox News.

I think I remember seeing an Independent gain on the 2012 Senate map in New Jersey.

Oh yeah that was probably him.
