J. Chic Hecht (R)

One of the best Jews to serve in ocngress. Also he is a staunch conservative and a bi-partisan republican. Even more bi-partisan then Lindesy Graham or John McCain.

RIP Chic

I also like Chic Hecht.  He believed John Kerry saved his life and regularly thanked Kerry for it.  The two became fast friends, despite their obvious differences.  That's the kind of thing we need to focus on sometimes...we CAN get along...we CAN give a damn about the well-being of the other...and we CAN find things to admire in our ideological foes.

I support this statement  and agree with 100% of it.
