    No. Religion is a form of expression & organized religion a form of assembly dedicated to that expression. To outlaw it would be unconscionable.

This.

We are the point where the biggest threat to organized religion is organized religion itself.  Why intervene to destroy it when it has done the best job of doing that to itself?

Also, if the government tried to ban organized religion it would only make organized religion much stronger due to the "persecution complex".
These crazies are going to be with us for awhile folks, get used to it.  I encounter them every single day down here, they drive me crazy, but I would never EVER for one second consider lowering myself down to their level and call for outlawing what they believe.
