Does anyone else feel like Democrats are doing to 'MAGA' what Republicans did to 'socialism'? (user search)

Republicans call everything socialism now to the point where it's become a meaningless term. They call Biden socialist, they call the FBI socialist they call everything socialist even when it's clearly not and it's just dumb. Even in conservative circles online it's become a running joke how awful of a campaign strategy it is (outside of Florida) and how overused the word is

I feel like Democrats are doing a similar thing with the word 'MAGA' now (they don't bother saying what it actually stands for now lol).
Democratic campaigns are using 'MAGA' as often as DeSantis says "woke". According to them Asa Hutchinson is MAGA, Don Bacon is MAGA, Francis Suarez (who has basically voted democratic since 2015) is MAGA, everything is MAGA.
It's become so overused and has basically destroyed any meaning of the word. By now I think just calling literally everything MAGA is not a very smart strategy and is a sign they don't really know what to do.

I think most of it started in 2020 actually. I remember ads from the Lincoln Project saying Susan Collins is an "extremist" and not like classic old-school Republicans because she voted for Trump's Supreme Court justices (which used to be passed bipartisanly) and she voted for the Trump tax cuts (literally standard Republican policy for a hundred years). Democrats just like calling everything far-right and MAGA now and it's made people not care about that anymore and honestly ripped them of an effective campaign tactic. It's like how SJWs online called basically everyone racist so much a few years back that people just shrug off being called racist or Hitler online nowadays as a part of the internet.
