Could this be a sign that Americans are finally warming up to the facts of the occupation, instead of Zionist propaganda?

The governing bodies of the mainline Protestant denominations are not representative of their congregations.

Not only this, but polling trends over the past few years has shown greater public support for Israel, at slightly higher than 70%, while support of Palestine has remained static at slightly less than 20%. So the answer is of course not.

I find that just utterly hilarious.  It's like America is in some kind of bubble.

Israeli propaganda, not Zionist. Using the phrase "Zionist" could be misconstrued rather easily, even though yes, in some cases, both of those phrases are one and the same.

Not quite.  Most of the people who propagandize for the state of Israel in the United States aren't Israelis.

Pro-Israeli propaganda, then. Using the word "Zionist" is just sinister.

You're right.  Only a young person who's trying to be edgy would be explicitly radical about the plight of the Palestinian people, and I'm not like that anymore.

FWIW, the measure narrowly failed, 333 to 331.

That was the vote for divestment.
