While it couldn't hurt to backchannel to feelers to Collins just to see what happens, she would obviously see what was going on. Seems like it would be more likely (though still almost nil) to convince Murkowski to flip parties if we want to grab an extra Senate seat.

  • 18 days after any other losing candidate would have conceded
  • 15 days after all media outlets called it

And yet this makes him one of the first Republicans in the whole party to acknowledge Biden's unambiguous win.
