I mean, sure, you could point to a few individual liberals who are racist or say cringeworthy things, but to argue that liberals, on the whole, are the most racist? Yeah, that belongs in this thread.

I am, unfortunately, seeing a lot of parallels between today's left and the right in Germany in the 1920's and early 30's.

I am not a big Trump guy, and disagree with him on some of his policies.   However, I'm looking at the alternative and seeing an increasingly radicalized left, that has even protested against a democratic election.

It's just a word. Treating it like it's forbidden gives it more meaning than it deserves. As long as you aren't acting like a jerk and using it to insult someone, it's really not a big deal.

I don’t believe vaccines caused my brother’s autism, but not to the extent that I can totally rule them out either. I’d still vaccinate my own children, but when that time comes I’ll sure as hell be paranoid about it.

I don’t trust scientists. I trust in science, but not scientists generally speaking. Experiments and research is very expensive, and the people who pay and fund these projects aren’t just throwing money around. They have their own angle. The growing intensity of the anti-anti-vaxxer movement has grown from a few warnings in academic journals to a full blown army of angry single moms ready to lead the latest online lynch mom the moment a kid at the daycare develops a runny nose.

Follow the money, etc, etc.

Now Tlaib could put this all to rest.  She could unreservedly condemn the Grand Mufti.  She hasn't, in part because few in America have heard of him, but mainly because she can't do so.  He's one of her heroes. If she wants to condemn the Grand Mufti as a Nazi Collaborator, I might be willing to modify my opinion.  But her account of Palestinian history during WWII regarding the Jews is a fiction that runs counter to what the Grand Mufti actually said and did.
