The SEC is horribly overrated, especially Alabama.

Um... ??  One of the most baffling posts in the history of the forum.  I'm guessing you just don't keep up with college football much.

I mean, there are some irritating SEC hacks out there that overrate the SEC (try following Saturday Down South on Twitter ... it's unbearable), but overall, it's a pretty hard argument to make.

For example, list all the non-SEC teams who would have been better than the 7th best team in the SEC this year if they were in the SEC:  Oregon, Stanford, Kansas State probably, maybe Ohio State... That's it.  I know fans of other conferences hate seeing 6 SEC teams in the top 10, but who else are you going to put?  Obviously not Oklahoma or Florida State, so there just isn't anyone else it can be.

That's a fascinating map.  I'd love to see one for college football too.

Really surprised Mississippi isn't rooting for the 49ers tomorrow because of Patrick Willis and Anthony Dixon

The Argonauts, Alouettes, and BC Lions should defect to the NFL, and as reparation, the NFL should completely finance the CFL, getting it back up t0 10-12 teams and encouring teams to at least somewhat use the CFL like a developmental league (but not a full-fledged minor league).

No.

I do support a 12 team CFL though, but not as a "developmental league"

Put teams in Quebec City, Halifax and London (plus Ottawa which will get a team next season).

How can there be a 9-team league?

Most of the CFL's history consists of having 9 teams. 5 in the West, 4 in the East.

Oh, I should also note that the Edmonton Eskimos usually have the highest attendance in the CFL, so why did you leave them out, Harry? Last I checked they got more people than the lowest NFL team at the time (Arizona I believe).

If Edmonton could legitimately support an NFL team, I would have no objection.  Ditto for the other teams, although they get less and less likely ... Jackson, MS, is a much larger metro area than Regina, for example.

I've always thought that a 40-team NFL and a 40-team UFL (with the CFL absorbed completely into the 2 leagues, with plenty of extra Canadian teams to dampen the angry Canadian fans) would be pretty awesome.

Which team should be ranked No. 2 behind Florida State?

Choices are "Undefeated Ohio State" (53%) and "One-loss Auburn" (47%). No points for guessing which color is which.

I've never been more ashamed of the South.  Disgusting.

Classic New Deal Coalition map here.

Disgusting.  The idiots who are like "durr I root for the SEC always lets have 8 in a row!" are insufferable.  Auburn benefits from an Auburn national title; the other 13 SEC schools do not benefit.  While it's of course good for all 14 that the SEC is generally considered to be the best conference, it will take much more than Auburn losing to Florida State for that to change, so there's no reason for the lunatic fringe of the other 13 fanbases to want Auburn to win.

Kentucky and Kansas probably had Adolph Rupp and Fogg Allen, respectively, in mind, with some Louisville fans thinking Rick Pitino too.

On the contrary, Northern teams should be required to play in domes.  Weather introduces way too much random luck into football games.
