ExtremeRepublican has a good reputation despite thinking LGBTQ+ people have a mental illness and that everyone not like him goes to hell (to the extent that Josef Mengele would but all the Jews he killed wouldn't).

I don't know why he's so beloved on a forum that's like 50% gay.

Without excusing extreme Republicans rampant homophobia and this sanctimonious faux religiosity he bases it on, I don't believe for one instant he or any member of his congregation believes Josef Mengele went to heaven. Yes, he and his congregation almost certainly to a person believe that any Jew who dies Goes to Hell, but let's not meaninglessly exaggerate.

There's enough about his views to have contempt for without inventing stuff. Wink

Alben Barkley. Like why did he have the absurd deluge named after him?

This * 10. He's not even near the bottom half of the posters quality-wise. They're easily over 20 posters who have a vastly stronger claim to have the Deluge thread named after them.

He's improved a lot since then. The Bernie bashing and obsession with trans issues gets old though.

Actually, you are both correct.

Oh yeah also GeneralMacArthur. The only real issue with him is he likes bad music.

But deliberately being an asshole is a bad way to make friends.

Wut?  Huh

Uh oh......

GMA recently stated he starts fights with people for the sake of it. That's why people don't like him.

Contrary to what some people say, Atlas is quite tolerant of people with diverse viewpoints. But deliberately being an asshole is a bad way to make friends.

Link?

Oh I start fights with people because I love fighting

In all fairness, I wouldn't read too much into that single passing statement unless there's a lot more to the statement supporting this context. He might very well have simply been in a flippant mood when he posted that. Mac certainly speaks his mind as well he should, but he is far from among the most pugilistic posters on this forum. Trust me, I speak with first-hand knowledge of that.
