eimply saying you support the civilians on both sides is a cowardly non-answer. It says nothing about who you actually want to win the conflict, and this is quite literally a war.
What's cowardly is talking tough about how you support one side or the other in ~The Conflict~ from behind a computer screen thousands of miles away from the region.
And in this...conflict, supporting the civilians on both sides has been much harder for governments and others with actual influence to do in practice, so I wouldn't call doing so cowardly at all.
