CPAC speaker calls for genocide of trans people

The escalation of right-wing rhetoric on trans people is absolutely terrifying. It should seriously give pause to anyone who isn't fully into the MAGA bubble that we're at a point when thought leaders can call for the eradication of an entire group and get an applause. And it doesn't even seem like an electoral strategy! Anti-trans fearmongering was a key part of the GOP message last November and it was a total flop, but they're still doubling down on it.

It's really hard to see where this all ends. Even if we're not talking about mass murder here (presumably even this far-right SCOTUS would put a lid on that), we're getting pretty close to a point where mass "reeducation" camps become the norm in some parts of this country. I mean, "conversion therapy" is still broadly practiced with the blessing of plenty of state governments, so seeing them make it mandatory for trans children seems like the natural next step.
