Stalin by and far. And shame on the world community for being hypocritical and going after Hitlers cronies and doing absolutely nothing to stop Stalins crimes. Here is a fact:

90% of Russians came out of German POW camps.
90% of Germans NEVER returned from Russian camps.

Though I do disagree with Hitler on almost every single issue he preached I do think he helped the economy of Germany revive from the Depression. I think the whole war could have been largely avoided if the French hadn't been so pushy on the Germans demanding so much money that it bankrupt Germany. Also the French actions in the Rhineland were absolutely dispicable. The Treaty of Versaille is exactly the reason that WW2 happened.

What is worse is that the Roosevelt Administration pretty much knew what was going on and never publicly condemned the slaughter. That is why most Americans were shocked when they found out about the camps.

Hitler sticks out more in history because he lost! Stalin won WW2 but if he had been overrun by the allies (which I agree w/Patton on). Then we would see Stalin in the same light.

Fact is more Russian soldiers came out of German camps then Germans who went into Russian camps

If the war is over wouldn't have been the law for the Russians to have released German POWs? Stalins actions after the second world war in regards to the eastern european states were very disturbing to say the least.
