Scottish and Irish.
5th generation Californian.  They came out during the Gold Rush (and spent it all, darn it!).

Where did they come from before the gold rush? Many folks who went to California were southerners.

Last name is Bergman (originally with 2 N's), so start with German.  Throw in English, Scotch, Scotch-Irish, Prussian, French and some Cherokee for a little color.

I've traced my ancestry back to the British Royal Family, so from there, I have ties thru most of Europe.

5th generation American tho -- last ancestor to cross the Atlantic was 3ggf -- arrived in NYC in 1845.  The first ones showed up in 1610s VA and 1630's in MA.

Which royals are u a decesent from?

I know Richard I (the Lionhearted), from there I can supposedly tie back to Charlemagne, and most of the royal houses in Europe.

Hi cousin! Smiley I'm an offshoot of the Hapsburg line.

Instead of saying "Semitic European", why not say Jewish? Saying "Semitic European" is like saying "Irish Far-Eastern".

True. I have semitic blood but I am not Jewish.
