The evidence that fluoride reduces cavities as compared to untreated water is spotty. I don't like the idea of putting unnecessary chemicals in us unless we absolutely have no other option.

The US and Aussie govts disagree.  Dentists disagree.  Unless you got something a little more substantial than about.com, the 83% of us in agreement will stay that way.

Toothpaste has flouride in it already, why do we need to dose up so much on it?
