Before Hillary Clinton's 2008 Presidential run, what woman do you think could have ran?

Here are my choices and years I think it was possible:


Sen. Margaret Chase Smith (R-ME) in 1960 or 1968?
Sen. Nancy Kassebaum (R-KS) in 1988 or 1992.
Gov. Christine Todd Whitman (R-NJ) in 2000.
Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R-TX) in 2000.
Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) in 2004.
Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AK) in 2004.
