I wonder how Riley stays THAT popular. It's not like Alabama is experiencing a boom of any kind.

And it seems like Richardson has rebounded a bit from his previous negative ratings.

Interesting that the governors with negative approval are mostly Democrats in Democratic states.
I've noticed that too, Bill Ritter isn't looking too good right now.

Yeah, he's pretty moderate for a Democrat. I saw an analysis, and what I found ironic, given the national situation, that Latinos were the reason Ritter's approvals are low-ish.

What has he done to piss them off?

Appointed a white guy in Salazar's seat.

Bev Perdue (D-NC):

25% Approve
55% Disapprove

Bahaha, good job.  McCrory was the obviously better choice, even the Perdue voters can see that now.

Why are her ratings so abysmal?

I can't believe that's just because of the economy. North Carolina isn't exactly Michigan or Ohio and to sink that low you must exhibit a deadly combination of ineptness AND corruption ala Bob Taft and Rod Blagojevich.
