Now, why would the Supreme Court do that if the federal government, as you suggest, has the sole authority to set immigration policy? Seems like something you've been repeating ad nauseam in these threads may not be correct. If it's helpful, you may think of Texas as a "sanctuary state" that has chosen not to cooperate with Border Patrol.
