Even if Trump isn't as sharp as he was 8 years ago, the public perception that Biden is doddering is already baked.  It won't change now.  Pointing out Trump's decline puts the spotlight right back onto Biden's fitness.

It would be malpractice if Biden's team didn't highlight this. This honestly might be the best way to counter concerns about Biden's age and cognitive abilities.

Biden and his surrogates can talk all day about it and it still won't do any good as long as the "liberal" media are obsessed only with Biden's "gaffes" and verbal missteps.

He clearly has more issues that he didn't have when he ran the first time and his schedule is more limited. I'm convinced that the narrative about Biden's mental capacity wasn't created because of his age but because Trump's campaign knew he was the one with cognitive issues and they needed to create a narrative to project upon Biden to deflect from it.

Isn't his schedule more limited because he has to be in court 3-4 days a week?

Even when he isn't in court he is found playing golf or lounging at Mar-a-Lago.

Not really. I don't track his actions day by day. I tune in when he or Biden speak. It's not really interesting to me what they do on their days off, cause that has no relevance to me or to politics
